About the Artist
Ireland Wisdom's first professional work of art was commissioned when she was just four years old when a local poet asked her to illustrate his telling of the Greek myth Perseus and Andromeda. Born in the infamous Malibu artist commune known as The Snake Pit/Rodeo Grounds and baptized at the Church of Art by Los Angeles artist Lynn Foulkes, Ireland was saturated in the art world of Southern California at a very young age. She has studied with well renowned artists such as Robert Liberace, Juliet Aristides, and Cheryl Kline.
